When I was sourcing this piece, the owner shared that he had a blue headed hen on a nest by Fenton. Well, since I'm a chickenkeeper I had to see it! (I'd never heard of such a piece.) When he brought it out, I knew it had to join the collection. When the light hits it, the cobalt blue head almost illuminates. It's a rare find and the Fenton logo in oval appears on the base. This is a really unique piece and I love it. What do you think?
