Paint coverage: 8oz will cover 38 sq ft and 16oz will cover 75 sq ft (the 4oz jar is perfect for trying out a new color, accent colors and small projects). A dark color typically only needs a single coat. A lighter color will probably need two.
Painting over a painted surface? In most cases, you'll just clean it with Dixie Belle White Lightning and then start painting. You won't have to prime, sand or strip the piece first. Just dampen your brush a bit and go for it.
Many people have used Dixie Belle Paint while pregnant with no issues; however, it's always best to consult with your doctor.
This paint is perfect for fabrics! Lightly mist your fabric with water (don't over saturate) and then paint like normal. You might need a second coat. When dry, sand with a 220 grit sanding sponge and your fabric will feel like leather.
This paint is very thick and a little goes a long way. The longer the lid stays off, the thicker it gets. If you like it thinner, just add a little water and stir.
